Seamsdress (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our platform — including our website, mobile applications, administrative dashboard, Application Programming Interface (API), community features, and all related services and tools (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Seamsdress, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, business name, password, service descriptions, portfolio images, pricing, qualifications, reviews, project postings, bids, milestone updates, payment amounts, transaction history, body measurements, saved sizing profiles, fit preferences, and messages sent through our platform.
We also collect information automatically, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, features used, time spent, referral URLs, and interactions with the platform. Cookies and tracking technologies are used to remember preferences, analyze traffic, and personalize content.

We may receive information from third parties such as Stripe (for payment details), retailer integrations (with your consent), identity verification providers, and publicly available sources.

How We Use Your Information

Seamsdress uses your information to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform; connect users; facilitate commerce; provide sizing and fit services; enable communications; process transactions; ensure safety and compliance; and support related business functions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, transmission, and sharing of your information as reasonably necessary to deliver our services, integrate with third-party tools, and comply with legal requirements. These activities may include both automated and manual processing.

You acknowledge and agree that Seamsdress is not responsible for any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your information beyond what is required by applicable law, and you release Seamsdress from any claims or damages arising from lawful, disclosed uses of your information, except where prohibited by law.


How We Share Your Information

We may share information as needed to operate the Platform, fulfill the services you request, and comply with legal requirements. This may include sharing with trusted service providers, integrated retail partners, and other users in connection with projects, transactions, and community features.

When possible, information is shared in aggregate, de-identified, or anonymized form so it cannot reasonably be used to identify you personally. Personally identifiable information (PII) is not shared with third parties except when you have given consent, when it is necessary to complete a transaction or service you have requested, or when required by law.
 
If you use our sizing tools, retailer integrations, or API features, your measurement and fit data will only be shared with the applicable retailer or partner for the limited purpose of providing size recommendations, alterations, or related services. These partners are expected to handle the information in compliance with applicable privacy laws and their own policies.
 
We do not sell personal information. However, by using the Platform, you agree that Seamsdress may process and share data in the ways described in this Policy to deliver services, integrate with third-party tools, and support business operations.
Seamsdress is not responsible for the privacy practices, security measures, or actions of third parties once information is shared in accordance with this Policy, and you release Seamsdress from any claims or damages arising from such lawful sharing, except where prohibited by law.


Data Retention

We retain your personal data as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time.

API & App Integration Privacy

If you use Seamsdress sizing tools, API, or our Shopify/Wix apps, your measurement data is shared only with your consent and may be accessed by retailers solely for fit recommendations. Retailers may not store this data long-term without your consent.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised policy.
